JUNIOR ROAD RACING IN NORTH QUEENSLAND.

The Townsville Motorcycle Club (TMCC) takes it’s responsibilities for the development and training of junior’s wishing to join the sport of Road Racing very seriously. Club coaches and coaching assistants are drawn upon from the senior or national level ranks of motorcycle racing.  All coaches and assistances either currently compete at the senior level, or have competed at a national level.  These coaches and assistants assist our junior’s through-out the year with both classroom sessions & track time to assist in their development.

Novice riders must first undertake the Motorcycling Australia (MA) Junior “KICK START “program. This program is an initial 5 hour coaching program, conducted by MA accredited coach’s, who donates their time to ensure juniors have the best and safest possible start to the sport of motorcycle racing. Juniors must undertake this course before they are permitted to apply for a MA Competition License. The cost of this program is $70.00 which includes your club membership (prices subject to change without notice).

The TMCC Road Racing Sub Committee is currently running the JUNIOR CORPORATE CHALLENGE for 13 to 16year olds.  For more about this exciting junior development program go to Club Downloads or click on the link on the home page.
