ROAD RACING Road racing is conducted at Suncity Raceway , Shaw Rd , Bohle , usually from February until October . A feature of note is the fact that we race at night , under lights , as leathers and tropical conditions are not a good combination .We aim to conduct 9 meetings per year , with 30 sprint events at each meeting .Our feature meeting incorporates the Annual One Hour Superlite Challenge , which features a full programme of events over 2 days .2006 saw the TMCC successfully host the second round of the 2006 QLD GP125 State Championship , the first State Championship round for motorcycles to be held at Suncity .The circuit is a 950 metre kart track , and its tight layout and twisting nature make for exciting racing ! Our competitors range in age from 16 to the other side of 60 , and both male and females compete . We have a lot of fun , from the "weekend racer" all the way to guys who have gone on to compete on the national circuit .Classes we run are :
Come on out and have a look , entry is usually free and we provide a good night's entertainment . Flag Marshals are always required , training is provided on the night and we even feed you at half time ! It's a good idea to be at the circuit at 2.00 pm , and make yourself known to an official or competitor . You will be made most welcome .
