TMCC MOTARD RULES 2010 ELIGiBILITY AND MACHINE COMPLIANCE FOR THIS CLASS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE USE OF THE CURRENT EDITION OF MOM’S AND CLASS/ MACHINE SPECIFIC ELIGiBILITY CRITERIA SET OUT BELOW. THE TMCC ROAD RACE SUB COMMITTEE WILL CONSIDER ANY AND ALL APPLICATIONS FOR THE ALTERATIONS TO THE RULES IN THE SPIRIT OF TMCC MOTARD RACING. 2010 WILL SEE THE INTRODUCTION OF TWO CLASSES; SENIOR MOTARD AND 250 cc MOTARD. CLASS SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1. OPEN MOTARD : Road Trail and Trail type machines , including motocross machines, up to 1000cc – SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH TRACK PERMIT CONDITIONS , complying with the current edition of the Motorcycling Australia Manual of Motorcycle Sport , and incorporating conditions listed in TMCC Motard Rules . 1.2 250 MOTARD : Road Trail and Trail type machines , including motocross machines, up to 250cc – complying with the current edition of the Motorcycling Australia Manual of Motorcycle Sport , and incorporating conditions listed in TMCC Motard Rules . 1.3. TYRES : SLICK OR ADR COMPLIANT TYRE TYPE IS OPTIONAL , HOWEVER EXTENT OF WEAR SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CURRENT MOTORCYCLING AUSTRALIA MANUAL OF MOTORCYCLE SPORT . 1.4 . ENGINE CAPACITIES : Shall be a minimum of 124 cc - up to 1000 cc (+ 2 %) , SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH TRACK PERMIT CONDITIONS . 1.5. ITEMS TO BE STANDARD FOR THE MODEL:1.6. ITEMS THAT MAY BE CHANGED :Frame (main structure) Crank cases external appearance Alternator & starting systems must be in working order Carburettors (needles jets and diaphragm springs may be changed ) 1.7. EXHAUST SYSTEM : Noise emission shall not exceed parameters as defined in The Motorcycling Australia Manual Of Motorcycle Sport . 1.8 . The implementation and enforcement of the TMCC MOTARD rules is governed by the TMCC ROAD RACING Committee .
