JUNIOR LICENSES

As from 1st July, 2006, every junior competition race license holder & new applicant (ages 7 – under 16) will have to:

1.      Complete at least 5 hours coaching with an accredited coach on an accredited track, EVERY YEAR until you are 16.
2.      Complete extra coaching if you want to ride a 125cc 2-stroke or 250cc 4-stroke. This will count towards the five hours of coaching you need to do each year.

These changes are part of the Junior Coaching Program that Motorcycling Australia and Motorcycling Queensland have put in place to make motorcycle sport safer.

(Please Note – Juniors are now no longer able to race on a one day license, unless they have previously completed the compulsory 5 hours of coaching). Refer to www.mqld.org.au for
 more licensing information.
